Katie is a fun and energetic girl. She is a wonderful working dog that has been very easy to train and play with. She has successfully competed in field trials, field tests, conformation and agility. She has also been trained for the obedience ring and is broke to wing and shot. Katie earned three titles in three different areas before her second birthday proving to be as versatile as her Irish Setter sister Ally. She was the first puppy from her litter to earn a CKC title by achieving her FDJ title in three straight field tests with scores in the eighties and nineties. Katie has spent every Fall hunting wild birds in Canada as well as one season in Arizona. She competed in several field trials as a puppy and as a senior dog. She is also working towards her FD and FDX titles in Field Tests and she has earned passing scores towards her FD title.
She earned her first CKC agility title in two weekends. She has
been competing successfully in CKC, AAC and NADAC agility earning several
titles in both. She is a speedy little girl that is very attentive and eager to please. She competed at her first AAC Regionals
in June, 2006 but wasn't successful in qualifying for the Nationals
due to handler errors. Fortunately she doesn't hold a grudge
and hopefully, after a hiatus from agility, we will be better prepared for 2010. |
